Honor and Excellence: Mark of being a UPIAN

I don't know why I didn't start this blog when I'm still a Freshie but it's never too late to made one right?

I didn't aspire to study college in the University of the Philipines much less to be a UPIAN. But all I can confirm is that I am glad that I take the UPCAT and fortunately passed it. I love my course which is BA Language and Literature and I love my campus. I hate at the same time love the stairs I hikewhenever I change classes :))) It's really nice. I love the buildings and the classrooms. Everything about it, I simply love it. But most of all, what I love the most in UP is not the place but the one who represents UP: its people, the students and faculty. The diversity of different culture, personality and beliefs clashed creating various changes in each and everyone. Meeting them is a blessing that helps me find the real me.

I also thank UP because if not for it my precious memories of my best friends will come to amomentarily pause and I wouldn't be able to meet the new friends I cherish today.

I also will never forget the knowledge I accumulated from the year of my residence inside UP. May it be trivial or relevant, fact is a fact, knowledge is a knowledge. Everything matters.

Also, the best values I learned in UP and still apply nowadays is "Honor and Excellence". Honor comes first before excellence because what excellence did you achieve if you did it without honor and honesty?
